Full-Time Positions:

Controller
The Controller has assigned responsibilities for the fiscal operations of Trinidad State Junior College in accordance with State law, regulations and institutional policy.  The Controller’s responsibility includes the administration and monitoring of the College’s financial system in order to ensure finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with Colorado Community College System rules and regulations.  The individual is responsible for the entire accounting function including supervising the general ledger, accounts payable and payroll of all funds, and for assisting with the budgetary process and other fiscal and business matters.  The Controller reports to the Vice President of Administrative Services.

TRiO Assistant Director & Testing Administrator
This is an exempt position reports to the Director of TRIO - Student Support Services. The position is responsible for testing and TRiO support on the Valley Campus. Testing includes administering and proctoring Accuplacer, GED, HiSET, TASC, HESI, CLEP and other tests as required on the Valley Campus of Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC).
TRiO support assists all aspects of the Student Support Services Grant to support grant goals and reporting requirements. The position may work directly with students, faculty and staff to support student success. This position will also work with the TRIO – Student Support Services grant and maintain contact with grant participants. This position will assist the project Director to accomplish objectives outlined within the grant.

TRiO TRIO Educational Opportunity Center Site Coordinator
The TRIO Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) is a federally-funded program at CSU-Pueblo with the primary purpose of assisting individuals who are low-income and/or potential first-generation college students in gaining access to higher education.

Part-Time Positions:

Payroll Coordinator
The Payroll Coordinator provides the day-to-day oversight and activities for Trinidad State Junior College monthly and bi-weekly payrolls. The position reports to the Controller and is primarily responsible for processing of all bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for both campuses in an accurate and timely manner. This position determines speed, methods, and timing to efficiently process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls through the Banner System, including all full-time, part-time, hourly and student employees. This position will analyze and reconcile all timesheets, shift differential, special pay or deductions and overtime. Sets up and maintains spreadsheets for all payrolls utilizing Microsoft Excel to reconcile bi-weekly and monthly payrolls.

Gunsmithing Tool Room/Shop Manager
Trinidad State Junior College is seeking a Part-Time Tool Room/Shop Manager for the Gunsmithing Department located on the Trinidad Campus. This position reports directly to the Dean of Instruction.
Start Date – May 14, 2018.
