Hello Teachers, Counselors, and Parents!

GIM and GRIP are this Friday! We hope your students are excited and ready to have a great time. We sure are! Here is some information about the day.

Registration for GIM and GRIP is from 8:50-9:20. The conferences begin at 9:20. GIM registration is in Scott Gym. GRIP registration is in Pioneer Room in the Sullivan Student Center. Attached directions to campus which include building locations on our campus. Parking is free!

After your students register, they will obtain their GIM or GRIP shirt (which they must change into) and sit with their team for the day. Students are broken into groups for the day so they will likely not be in the same group as their friend. This encourages the students to meet other students from different schools. There will be a continental breakfast available. One to two college students (Team Leaders) will be with your students all day.

We will have a hospitality area available to you with free wifi and coffee.

The weather is suppose to be nice on Friday, 62 degrees. Some activities will be outside so encourage your students to bring a light coat if you deem it appropriate.

Closing activities are at 2:30-3:00.

There is a $5 registration fee.

Registration opens March 8, 2017 and is open to the first 100 students who register for each event. So be quick to send in your students’ registration packets (registration form, registration fee, and photo waiver) when registration opens March 8, 2017. The forms have been emailed to the counselors prior to this due date.

  3. Turn left onto Nevada Ave at the stop sign Go 0.2 mi
  4. Take the 2nd right onto Pine St Go 0.2 mi
  5. Turn left onto Prospect St Drive to the end of the street to the large parking lot (parking is free).
  6. Please check in at the Sullivan Student Center (marked with the blue star on the map).
  7. Registration, Morning Session, Lunch, and Afternoon Session will be held in the Sullivan Student Center (marked with the blue star on the map). Workshops will be held in the Davis Building (marked with the yellow star on the map).
