Alternative Credit Project
Credit to Kickstart Your Trinidad State Program
If you have stopped out of college, the Alternative Credit Project™ (ACP) provides a pool of online courses that Trinidad State College (TSC) will accept towards your degree (up to 45 ACP credits). A national program of the American Council on Education, supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACP is designed to help adults finish what they started - a two- or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.
Even if you’re not ready to apply yet, TSC is here to help. We have admissions counselors, financial aid advisors, and academic advisors who specialize in helping students who have started careers or families to come back to school and finish their education.
Courses
Trinidad State College will accept these ACP courses as transfer credits:
This is a list of Alternative Credit Project™ courses that the Colorado Community College System (CCCS) have approved. It is a general list and subject to change as courses are further reviewed. Be sure to check with TSC Student Services for the most recent course information.

Key Institutional Information
TSC Admission Overview
We would love to have you join our TSJC community! Applying for admission as a transfer student is relatively easy - there’s detailed information within the Admissions section of this site. If you attended Trinidad State before, you may have a shorter path to readmission. Check out readmission details for former TSC students.
We admit transfer students in both fall and spring semesters. Most students will need to complete an application and supply transcripts for all prior college-level work.
IMPORTANT:
You may request your ACP transcript directly from the American Council on Education (ACE).

"I did it. You can as well!"
“At one time, I dreamed of being a lawyer,” said 48 year-old Lezli Martinez. Instead, after a series of bad decisions, she spent decades as a prostitute. Those
days are behind her now. She graduated on May 8 from Trinidad State with her CAC
2 (certification in Addiction Counseling) and her AAS degree and again on May 16 from
ASU with Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology.
