TRiO Transfer Coordinator and Advisor - Trinidad Campus

Library 207C

I grew up in the pine-clad hills west of Trinidad, Colorado, and am a Trinidad State alumna. I also studied at Colorado State University Fort Collins, from which I earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management, minoring in Conservation Biology. Before returning to TSJC I worked as a wildlife rehabilitator (mainly with raptors and orphaned bear cubs), and as a Title-33 Park Ranger with Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Trinidad State helps people in our community and from all over the world meet their dreams by providing training and education for fulfilling careers. I’m honored to be part of that legacy, and to work side-by-side with our excellent faculty and staff. As a TRiO Advisor I serve students as a guide through the processes by which our institution functions. I’m here to help them with any need, every step of the way, from registering in their very first college courses to getting ready for graduation and transfer.

Jesus is my hero. I play the Highland Bagpipe, but most of my friends don’t mind. I have a passion for wildlife and the outdoors, and when I’m not outdoors I enjoy reading the accounts of pioneering scientists and explorers.
