Ann Marie was born in Raton, NM then moved to Denver after graduation. After many years of working in Office Supplies, she moved back to Raton to help with the family restaurant. Her teaching career started in 1999 when a good friend was working at Trinidad State started having panic attacks and asked Ann Marie if she could take over the Economics class. Ann Marie discovered she loved teaching and has been here since. She completed her Master's (MBA) in 2014 and still operates and cooks in the the family restaurant in Raton. Her volunteer work is mostly helping the Raton Humane Society.
