Structural Trades II
Trinidad Campus
This position reports to the Director of the Physical Plant Department at the Trinidad Campus, at Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC). Position is responsible for independently providing the skills and knowledge necessary to interprets blueprints, written instructions, work orders, and verbal instructions to complete fabrication and remodeling of existing wood or metal stud walls and cabinets, install doors or windows and framings, building walls, partitions, drop ceilings, install ceiling grid, and trims, and performs minor remodeling of rooms and areas. Specific duties include: construct walls by measuring, calculating materials and fastening all materials to build walls and partitions as designed and requested on service requests. Installation of doors and windows. Installs bulletin boards, black/white boards, pictures, plaques, name and number plates, and display and instruction/information screens. Performs minor welding, plumbing and electrical. Position performs preventative maintenance on facilities, grounds equipment, sprinkler systems and boiler and plumbing systems. Position applies finishes to projects by painting, varnishing, sealing, sanding, oiling, and waxing. Position assists other crafts and staff as needed in snow removal, lawn mowing and weed eating. Sets up for special events and provides assistance when needed in areas other than that of the specific trade. Maintenance of State Fleet vehicles. Checks vehicles in and out for staff travel. Additional duties may be assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager or Director based on the needs of the college.

Emergency Medicine Program Director

Trinidad State Junior College seeks an EMS Program Director. The director would have be over the EMS programs running on both the Trinidad and Alamosa campuses. This is a full-time, nine-month, permanent positions that report directly to the Dean of Instruction.

Title V Director
Trinidad Campus
Trinidad State Junior College is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Title V Director. Position is located on the Trinidad campus, in Trinidad, Colorado and will serve both the Trinidad and Alamosa campuses. This position is focused on the implementation of a federal grant through the U.S. Department of Education’s Hispanic Serving Institution’s (HSI) Strengthening Institution program. Adelante is focused on supporting Hispanic student success. This job description reflects TSJC’s best effort to describe the duties and qualifications of the job described.
