* Additional details

Trinidad State Junior College applies all Institutional Scholarship awards directly to charges on the student’s college fee bill (including tuition, college and student fees and on-campus housing). All Institutional Scholarships take the form of a credit to the student’s account in the amount established for each scholarship in a particular year. There is no cash value to the scholarships, nor can they be carried over from one semester to the next. All merit scholarship recipients must maintain grade point average eligibility as described in the award.

Students interested in financial aid must also apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). College Opportunity Fund and FAFSA programs are state and federally funded assistance programs based on residency and income criteria. Award amounts for these programs are subject to change based on program requirements and federal and state regulations.

The College Opportunity Fund and any state financial aid assistance are only available to students classified as Colorado residents for tuition purposes. Refunds are applied to a student’s Higher One refund card.
