Support Trinidad State – Protect Your Future
For most people, a charitable bequest through a will or living trust can be a highly
appropriate way to make an estate gift. The future is unknowable. And it’s precisely
this reason that a future gift makes sense – it preserves your full control over your
assets for the balance of life.
In short, you create a future gift in your will or living trust today, but nothing
happens until your estate is settled. If an unforeseen need arises in the meantime,
your assets are still in place. If not, a beautiful gift will one day come to Trinidad
State College Foundation.
Bequests are also highly flexible, allowing you to determine an appropriate balance
between family, friends and an organization like Trinidad State.
To create a bequest, contact your estate planning attorney – and if your plans are
already in place, please know that updating them is easy and far less expensive than
redrafting all of your documents. And if you do decide to remember Trinidad State
College Foundation, please let us know. We would love to welcome you as a member of
the Society of 1925.
For more information, or to request ‘sample bequest language’ that you can share with
your attorney, please visit this page, or contact Toni DeAngelis at toni.deangelis@trinidadstate.edu or 719-846-5520. There is never any expectation or obligation to complete a gift.
