RICHARD ALFORD

Rich Alford is a retired sociologist who now pursues his artistic interests full time. He retired five years ago and moved with his wife, Jody Alford, to Trinidad. After dabbling in various art media for years, in 1990 he picked up a copy of Edwards' Drawing with the Right Side of Your Brain, and soon discovered that he could learn how to draw. Drawing led to painting, and recently stained glass. He became a partner in Marketplace Gallery in Downtown Trinidad. He has been selling oil landscapes of the local mountains, plains, and skies.
