Leslie Lambert is a nationally recognized watercolor artist, educator, and author whose work captures the spirit, texture, and complexity of the American West. Her vibrant poured watercolor landscapes use a unique process of layered masking and fluid color pours to create luminous, emotionally resonant scenes that reflect her deep connection to place.
Originally from Utah, Lambert describes her move to Idaho as a homecoming. The West is her ancestral home, and its vast skies, weathered architecture, and working ranches continue to inspire her work. Her paintings often center on the resilience and beauty of the Western landscape and lifestyle.
Lambert is a signature member of Cowgirl Artists of America and has exhibited widely across the U.S. She has participated in the Women’s Work exhibition at the A.R. Mitchell Museum for the past two years. Her 2024 piece from that show, Tougher Than the Rest, was featured in Plein Air Magazine and went on to win Best of Show at the Women Artists of the West Annual Exhibition in Tennessee.
Her paintings have been featured in Art of the West, Western Art Collector, Western Art & Architecture, and The Art of Watercolour. She is the author of Watercolor 365, a widely acclaimed instructional book offering a year’s worth of inspiration and technique for painters.
In addition to her professional art practice, Lambert teaches painting and art history at the College of Southern Idaho and leads watercolor workshops across the U.S. and internationally. More of her work can be found at www.leslielambertart.com.
Paige Weber is a wildlife and Western lifestyle oil painter based in Pocatello, Idaho. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design with an emphasis in English and Painting from Boise State University and an MA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University. After a pivotal year-long daily painting project while living in Montana, Paige shifted her focus to painting animals—especially horses and birds. Her work has been featured in Seasons of the 208 and Portfolio Art Magazine, and is currently available at Hotel Arvon in Great Falls, Montana. She also serves on the operations board of Cowgirl Artists of America and is honored to be part of the Women’s Work exhibition through her collaboration with an Idaho equine massage therapist.
