Jacob Williamson

Jacob Williamson is a mixed media illustrator with a passion for wildlife conservation. He hopes to provide artistic significance through researched, human intention and prioritize textural mark-making with natural materials. Digital design has also been a large part of his education (CU Denver) and work, but he finds himself moving more often towards the simple and solid nowadays. Jacob strives to create tangible illustrations invested in both natural history and our future.

a passion project of Trinidad artist Jacob Williamson, considers the creatures and the landscape we share experience with here in Las Animas County. Jacob will discuss his unorthodox material finding and mark making process as well as observations on finding a path as a young creative.
