About the Program

Animal Science is a multidisciplinary field at the intersection of biology, agriculture, and economics, dedicated to the study and management of livestock and companion animals.

Our curriculum covers genetics, nutrition, physiology, and animal behavior — with the goal of improving animal health, productivity, and sustainability. From a business perspective, Animal Science plays a critical role in optimizing production systems and driving innovations in biotechnology.

TSC's Animal Science Program is tailored to complete the lower-division (freshman and sophomore) requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree, setting you on a path to academic and professional success. Our curriculum ensures a seamless transition to a four-year institution.

By enrolling, you are not just earning an Associate of Science degree — you are investing in a future filled with opportunities in research, veterinary sciences, livestock management, and more.
