AppliedTechnology
Already have career and technical education credits? Transfer up to 45 CTE credits toward an Associate of Applied Science degree — and finish in as little as two semesters.

About This Program
Your Technical Training, Completed into a Degree
The Applied Technology degree is part of a statewide consortium of community colleges and Area Vocational Technical Schools. A statewide articulation agreement allows ATC (AVS) graduates to transfer up to 45 college Career and Technical Education (CTE) credits toward the completion of an AAS degree at Trinidad State College.
The remaining 15–18 credit hours are general education courses taken here at TSC. The degree reflects your experience — whether your background is in construction, cosmetology, business, graphic arts, or another technical field, your AAS is shaped by your individual college journey.
Classes are available on campus and online, with live instructor interaction delivered via WebEx or Zoom. Students at multiple locations — including correctional facilities across Colorado — participate live with instructors and classmates.
