About the Program

Advance Your Scientific Career

TSC’s Associate of Science degree with an emphasis in Biology is designed to complete the lower-division (freshman and sophomore) portion of a Bachelor of Science in the biological sciences. Every course transfers to Colorado public four-year universities.

Our curriculum spans the full breadth of biology—from cells to ecosystems—and includes Guaranteed Transfer (GT) courses as recommended by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, so your credits move with you.

Program Cost

Tuition rates are identical at Trinidad and Valley campuses. Fees vary slightly by campus and credit load — see the full schedule for exact per-term totals. Estimates do not include books, supplies, or room and board. Rates are for 2025–2026 and subject to change.

Foundational coursework in English composition, college algebra, biology, and chemistry.
