The Trinidad State Collaboratory is a community makerspace and small business incubator aiming to empower the economic and creative development of Trinidad's diverse community and its members through experiential learning, inclusive collaboration, radical knowledge sharing, and hands-on opportunities to explore new skills and knowledge.

Membership Information

  • Who can participate:
    Open to the public AND Trinidad State College students/staff.
  • TSC students and staff:
    FREE for Spring 2022 with valid student ID.
  • 10-punch pass for non-student/staff public: $15.00
  • Unlimited monthly usage: $30.00
  • One-time use: $5.00
  • Use of web-conferencing classroom for public groups: $10.00/hr

Open Lab Hours for the summer
(Today through August 19th):

  • Tuesdays - Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Wednesdays – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Hours are subject to change. Please consult this page or call 719-846-5724 to confirm. If you arrive for evening sessions, please use the south door of the Berg Building on the Trinidad Campus. If the door is locked, call 719-846-5505.

Scheduled Classes and Workshops:

  • Tuesday, August 2nd, 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    or Wednesday, August 3rd 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
    • Come Make Your Very Own Graphic Tee, Hat, Mug, or Decal!!!
      Learn to use our TSC Collaboratory Sublimation Printer, Vinyl Cutter, and Heat Press.
      We have a few sublimation blanks that can be printed on, but please bring your own item to customize. Light-colored polyester fabrics work best but other fabrics can also be used. If you want to customize an object try to find one that is designed to work with the sublimation process. The class, sublimation materials, and vinyl are all provided free of charge!

Workshops are free, but sign-up is required by calling 719-846-5724 or emailing  Supplies for projects will be provided.
Each workshop is limited to 6 people.
