Alicia is the Dean of Students at Trinidad State College. Being passionate for helping
youth and students, Alicia has worked as an educator and advocate for students in
higher education at TSC for over 20 years and in secondary education for 5 years as
a math instructor.
While at TSC, Alicia was the Director of Enrollment Management and Student Success
in Student Affairs, assistant director of Trinidad State’s TRiO Upward Bound Math
and Science Program and managed the Co-op STEM grant as activity director. In addition
to experience in grant management, Alicia was an adjunct instructor for the math lab,
human anatomy and physiology for massage therapy and OSHA programs, and kinesiology
for massage therapy.
Alicia earned a Bachelor’s degree from University of Colorado at Boulder in Kinesiology,
certificates in Leadership and Youth Ministry, and is pursuing a Master’s degree.
She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and two dogs, Snoop and
Shea.
