Linda is a Colorado native with a strong commitment to community, education, the
environment, and serving others. About thirty years ago, she and husband, Tom, moved
to Stonewall, Colorado, where they managed the Bar NI Ranch for fifteen years. During
that time, they supported the ranch’s mission of land and wildlife stewardship while
hosting the owner’s personal and corporate guests, contributing to collaborative conservation
efforts and meaningful community partnerships.
After moving from the Bar NI Ranch to Trinidad, Linda began her career at Trinidad
State College where she has served as Office Assistant for the Trinidad State College
Foundation and STEM Outreach Assistant. She now serves as Executive Assistant to the
President and Community Liaison, a role in which she supports institutional leadership
and fosters connections throughout the community.
Linda remains active in serving the community. She co-facilitates Network Council
each month and serves on the boards of Mt. Carmel Wellness and Community Center and
the Youth Club of Trinidad. She remains dedicated to the nonprofit organizations established
while at the Bar NI Ranch—the Bar NI Ranch Community Fund, the Purgatoire Valley Foundation,
and the Culebra Range Community Coalition, whose signature initiatives include the
long-running Trinidad Water Festival and the Culebra Range Scholarship Program.
Linda believes in working together, supporting the community, and facilitating the
educational growth of students.
