Train for Healthcare's Front Lines

The Medical Assistant Professional Program at Trinidad State College offers a comprehensive education designed to prepare students for both clinical and administrative roles in healthcare settings. Students learn essential skills such as reviewing medical histories, assisting physicians during exams, and performing tasks like drawing blood and processing lab specimens.

The program offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and a certificate, with coursework tailored to meet industry standards. Graduates are well-prepared for the National Healthcare Association's certification exams, with a history of strong pass rates.

Program Cost

Tuition rates are identical at Trinidad and Valley campuses. Fees vary slightly by campus and credit load — see the full schedule for exact per-term totals. Estimates do not include books, supplies, or room and board. Rates are for 2025–2026 and subject to change.
