The Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Teacher Education is designed to complete the lower-division portion of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and provide a foundation for thinking critically about teaching and learning, and to promote appreciation of diversity among all types of learners.

CU Denver partnership: TPREP
Trinidad State College and the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) have launched an innovative partnership to offer a bachelor's degree in elementary education that can be completed entirely at Trinidad State's Trinidad Campus. It's called TPREP — the Teacher Preparation for Rural Education Program.
