Trinidad State College operates under an open admission policy, providing access to all who desire a higher education or want to enhance their knowledge and skills. Our two campuses serve a diverse population of nearly 2,000 students of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities, with a student-to-faculty ratio of 12 to 1 and free tutoring available to every student.

Submit Your Application
Apply online for free. TSC has an open admission policy — no test scores or transcripts are needed to apply. Applications are accepted year-round.

Connect with an Advisor
Once your application is received, you'll be connected with an advisor who can help you explore programs, discuss your goals, and map out a plan.

Explore Financial Aid
Most students qualify for some form of financial assistance. Complete your FAFSA to see what grants, scholarships, and payment plans are available to you.

Register for Classes
Review the current class schedule, choose your courses with your advisor, and register through the TS Connect Portal. You're on your way.

Students must self-identify to the Disability Services office and provide current documentation if accommodations are desired. Please visit the Accessibility Resource Office (ARO) on campus to get started.
If you are considering a program that leads to a professional license in a state other than Colorado, seek guidance from the appropriate licensing agency in that state before beginning your program at TSC.
In compliance with the U.S. Department of Education and NC-SARA, TSC provides licensure and certification information for programs that may lead to state licensure. The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary courses.

For nursing and nurse aide programs, requirements differ in all 50 states and territories. TSC recommends visiting the National Council of State Boards of Nursing website for your intended state's requirements. TSC can only guarantee Colorado requirements are met by our programs.
