Archaeology Museum

Louden-Henritze Archaeology Museum is currently closed for renovation.

The Museum will reopen Feb. 12, 2026.

The museum offers visitors a unique look at millions of years of the area's history. On display are:

  • Early geological formations
  • Plant & marine-animal fossils
  • A dinosaur track exhibit
  • Artifacts pertaining to the culture, food, and tools of prehistoric man found during excavations in and around the Trinidad area

Location

The Louden-Henritze Archaeology Museum is located on the ground level of the Samuel Freudenthal Memorial Library on the Trinidad State College Campus.
