Concurrent Enrollment
What is Concurrent Enrollment?
Trinidad State is excited you have chosen to take classes while you are in high school!
Concurrent Enrollment is designed for high school students looking for a challenge
and also provides college credit while still in high school. The Trinidad State Concurrent
Enrollment program lowers the initial higher education investment by providing college
credit at low or zero cost to each student and prepares students for a seamless transfer
to college by providing the experience of being a college student. Credits earned
through Trinidad State will transfer to all 13 Colorado Community Colleges in addition
to transferring to state universities with the Statewide Transfer Articulation Agreements, for more information on transfer go to: https://cdhe.colorado.gov/guided-pathways-guaranteed-transfer.
High schools work with Trinidad State through a contract agreement to provide Concurrent
Enrollment opportunities in southern Colorado. While some high schools offer Concurrent
Enrollment classes on the high school campus, other students attend college classes
on the Trinidad State campus, while others utilize the Trinidad State Online course
offerings. Check with your high school to learn more about the opportunities offered
through your school district. All Concurrent Enrollment courses offered through Trinidad
State for credit are taught by qualified instructors.
