Hello Trinidad State! My name is Leslie Simpson Velarde and I am a native of Aguilar, CO. I have been in education for over 15 years and am pleased to be a part of a fantastic team here at Trinidad State!

I have a son, Everette, and a daughter, Kendall both pursuing their higher education at Trinidad State. I have been married for 23 years and enjoy caring for cats and dogs, gardening, and summer evenings with close friends.
