Mosaics

GLASS ON MIRROR MOSAICS
October 16, 17, 18, 2023   6:00pm – 8:30pm  Monday-Wednesday
Location: Trinidad State College, Berg 401
Cost: $70 – includes use of tools, grinders and materials to complete one project.

Learn the art of Mosaics using stained glass scraps in picture frames. We will be learning various cutting techniques and how to create patterns.  Your 8x10 finished piece will be suitable to hang in a window.  

Continuing Education – not for college credit.

In order to provide personal attention, the class is limited to ONLY 6 students.

You will learn:

• Material usage
• Glass cutting techniques and tool usage
• Choosing color and pattern for a pleasing design
• Adhesives and substrates
• Sealing to prevent grout bleed
• Grouting and mounting for hanging
• Tips and tricks learned through trial and error
