The process has been streamlined to allow people to file online without leaving home.

Here’s how it Works:

  1. Answer Questions
You’ll be asked a series of questions about your household and finances.
  2. Upload Your Tax Documents
Securely upload pictures of your tax documents, social security card/ITIN, photo ID and picture of yourself holding your ID.
  3. Informational Interview
An IRS-certified volunteer will call to make sure that we have everything we need to accurately prepare your tax return.
  4. Your Taxes Are Prepared
To ensure accuracy and give you the best refund possible, each tax return goes through a quality review process with a second IRS-certified volunteer.
  5. Final Review
Another IRS-certified volunteer will call to review your final tax return information. After the call, you’ll be sent a password-protected, electronic copy of your tax returns to e-sign. With these signatures, we can E-File your Federal and State returns.
  6. Get Your Refund
After your returns are E-filed, all you have to do is wait for your refund to arrive! If you have questions after filing, we are available to help!

Those without computer access at home can visit a public library.
