Trinidad State offers a fully online RN-BSN program. Students are assigned a personal nursing coach to stay on track. The Leadership course includes 22.5 hours of practicum and Community Health includes 45 hours — and all practicum can be completed in the area where you live. Out-of-state students pay the same tuition rate as in-state students for NUR 300 and 400-level courses.

Admission Requirements

RN-BSN Track

Designed for graduates of an associate degree or diploma nursing program who hold a current, unencumbered U.S. RN license.

Apply to Trinidad State College — no application fee.

Apply to the TSC RN-BSN Program — no program fee. A checklist will be emailed immediately.

Submit verification of your Associate or Diploma nursing degree from a regionally accredited institution.

Submit verification of a current, unencumbered U.S. RN license (required before enrolling in NUR 409).

Depending on practicum site requirements, proof of immunizations, a background check, and/or drug screen may be needed.

Transfer credits: up to 89.5 credits accepted (grade of C or higher). At least 30.5 credits must be earned at TSC. Out-of-state students: review nc-sara.org and contact your State Board of Nursing.

Dual Enrollment BSN Track

For students currently enrolled in an ADN program who wish to pursue the BSN concurrently. Must have completed the first semester of your associate or diploma nursing program.
