About Trinidad State
About Trinidad State College
Colorado's First
Community College
Since 1925, Trinidad State has offered affordable, accessible education across two campuses — serving students in southern Colorado and beyond.
With campuses in Trinidad and Alamosa, we provide an affordable and accessible education to students in southern Colorado and beyond. Trinidad State offers unique academic programs in fields such as Cosmetology, Nursing, Welding, and one of the top Gunsmithing Schools in the United States.
Our tuition rates are consistently at least 40% less than Colorado's four-year colleges and universities — and we have the highest completion rates of any community college in Colorado. Trinidad State has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1962.
