Agriculture
Trinidad State agriculture is BIG business!
Employment of farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural managers is projected to grow
by almost 10 percent throughout the 2020's. Despite a projected decline in the number
of acres being used for farming, output is expected to remain steady due to increasing
crop yields. In addition, the demand for meats and dairy products should remain strong
and result in higher livestock production.
Trinidad State's extensive Agriculture program opportunities are listed below. These
courses are designed to prepare students for the application of skills in areas such
as animal and crop science, agriculture mechanics for the agricultural industry and
more.
