Library Circulation Policy

Books can be checked out by college students, Holy Trinity Academy, Upward Bound Math Science and Upward Bound students for a period of two weeks. There is no limit to the number of books that you can check out at any one time. Books can also be checked out by a community member through the CLC program, there is a 4-book limit for the community CLC borrowers. Please show your current student identification (TSJC and Upward Bound Students) or driver’s license (community member) to the library staff member at the Circulation Desk.

If you wish to renew your books please bring the books to the library and we will gladly renew them and have them stamped with the new due date. We can also renew items over the phone, but only if you call before their due date.

Please do not check out items for your friends. Remember: you are responsible for anything checked out in your name, and you are liable for lost or late items and fines.

Overdue fines are $0.10 per day per book. Fines will continue to accumulate until your book(s) are returned. All fines must be paid in full before students will be released from their financial obligation to the college. Community members must pay all fines due before they will be allowed to check out any more books.

After 6 weeks, a book will be declared lost and you will be charged a flat $55.00 fee for lost book replacement/ processing, which will be turned over to the Business Office for collection. Until this fee is paid, your transcripts and financial aid may be held.
